The Gem of our organization is our Volunteers.


Each year we spend anywhere from $14,000 to $20,000 exclusively on uniforms because we allow the children to keep their uniforms as a part of their experience. The sum does not include the costs of equipment purchases. 

Sponsorship abates the annual cost of uniforms purchases and enables registration fees and other contributions to be used toward field maintenance and restoration so that our ballfields can be in a pleasant and playable condition. 

It is very important to us that our families, friends, patrons, and partners are proud to come out and enjoy a ballgame on our fields and in our community. In times past we have not been able to fully embrace such an experience due to the lack of field ownership.

However, times have changed. We are moving to renovate the Longfellow Little League fields complex at 4325 Whitcomb Street, Gary IN, 46408.

We plan to utilize these fields and host tournaments like our neighbors in Hobart, Crown Point, and East Chicago.

We are going to bring Longfellow back to life and restore our field of dreams.

Covers the cost of registration for ten children.

o Bring product or showcase services at games
• Half page acknowledgment  in CRLL League Schedule Books
• 3’ by 6’ fencing banner with year
• Team Photo plaque
• Recognition on CRLL website
• Invitation to the End of Season Ceremony

Covers the cost of registration for ten children plus equipment.

Includes:

• Invitation to the Opening Day Ceremony
• Opening day acknowledgement

o Throw the first pitch at a game
o Bring product or showcase services at games
o Place Logo on adult sleeves of league apparel
o Be in a group photo on Picture Day
• Prominent signage at concession stand throughout season

Players drafts for teams occur at the beginning of March.
Funds are requested to arrive before the end of March.
Opening Day is in April for the Spring/Summer Season.
Fall Ball begins late August through October.
